Vaccination Check-in Linking Information
Below are some helpful tips on how you can link your COVID-19 digital Vaccination status certificate to your Queensland Check-in App (CIQ):
- You will need to access your Medicare Online Account (through MyGov), or the Medicare Express Plus App on a mobile device.
- If you are unsure on how to set up or access your Medicare online account, please visit the Medicare website: https://www.servicesaustralia.gov.au/individuals/medicare. Alternatively, you can call Jonty Bush (MP Member for Cooper) on (07) 3554 9100 or visit her office at 230 Waterworks Road, Ashgrove, QLD, 4060 who can assist you.
- Ensure that you have an updated version of the Queensland Check-in App (CIQ). This can be done by uninstalling and reinstalling the Application on your mobile phone or smart-device.
- Open the Check-in App and open the top left menu before selecting 'Covid-19 Digital Certificate'.
- Click on 'Add Certificate' via MyGov.
- Log in to your MyGov Account (Call 13 23 07 or visit https://my.gov.au/mygov/content/html/contact.html if you are unsure on how to do this).
- Scroll down to 'Proof of COVID-19 vaccination' and click on 'Go to Medicare'.
- Select 'View History' before clicking on 'Share with Check-in App'.
- Click 'Accept and Share' before selecting 'Accept'.
- Once you have linked your digital vaccination certificate, you will notice a green 'tick' next to your name on the Home screen of the QLD Check-in app.
- When you check-in at the club, your name will be highlighted in green on the check-in screen.
