2021 Club Championships - Player Notes

Competition fees for all 4 rounds on the first day to be eligible for the Championship.

Speed of Play - A round of Golf at Ashgrove should take no longer than 4 hours 15 minutes. If you are not sure if your ball is OB (out of bounds) or potentially lost, hit a provisional ball to save time. You only have 3 minutes to search for a lost ball after reaching the anticipated location and 40 seconds to play once you have reached your next shot and it is safe to play. Move quickly between holes and mark your card on the next tee.

Local rules are written on the board if there are any changes to the course. Always read the local rules before play!!!!!

Note:

8th hole - Blue tees will be in the original tee location.
Red Tees will be forward.
All GUR is non-compulsory except the 8th GUR is compulsory. Take nearest drop zone to the ball location.

Bruce Gill will be the Rules Official and will be located on the Captains Deck for any rulings throughout the Championship. You can call Bruce on his Mobile: 0412 552 544 for a ruling.

Players hitting blind shots over trees (namely but not limited to the 2nd, 15th and 16th holes) PLEASE be mindful of the players in front of you. Make sure the area is clear and safe before playing.

If you are eligible for:

Veterans Aged 65+
Seniors aged 50 -64
Juniors aged under 18
Make sure you indicate on your cards with V, S or J

Sign your Card and enter your score before placing in the results box in the clubhouse. Unsigned cards unfortunately result in disqualification.

Make sure cards are filled out with a Players Score and Markers Score for each hole on the card and not in the red square only.

All cards must be returned regardless of whether you finish a round or not. This saves the volunteer Match Committee lots of time.
